How to use our site

To review available rental real estate:

On the main page of the RPD Web-site there are two property listing choices:

Select one of these two buttons to go to the page with listings you desire.

Once you are on the listing page that you desire you will find links to commercial properties and individually owned rental real estate.  You will need to scroll down the page to view all the listings.  Listings are in a tabulated format so you will also need to scroll to the right to view all the information associated with a listing.

 

For the UConn and ECSU area: The listings included here are the currently available rental arrangements around the University of Connecticut and Eastern Connecticut State University. Each listing contains the same basic information in abbreviated form. Refer to key for explanation of abbreviations. Additional information may also follow each listing to the right.

Key

• Contact Person = Person to ask for when you call
• Phone = Phone number to call for information and an appointment
• Street = Street that the rental is on
• Avail = Date the rental is available
• Rent = monthly rent
• # BR = the number of bedrooms
• Util. Inc. = are utilities included or not
• Lease = is a lease required
• Sec. Dep. = security deposit
• Smks = are smokers accepted
• Dist/UC = distance from UConn
• Dist/ECSU = distance from ECSU
• Furn = is it furnished
• Bus = is it walking distance to a bus stop
• Pref. Sex = what is the preferred gender of the roommate.
• Pets = are pets allowed

Statewide listings: Currently we do not have individual property listings statewide.  We do, however, provide links to commercially managed Rental Properties in many areas of Connecticut for your convenience.  We are working to develop a database of individual privately owned houses and apartments.  When we do, the listings included here will be currently available rental arrangements around the state of Connecticut. We will provide a more complete list of instructions once we develop this service.
